With traditional translation, budget is tied to volume

Traditionally, translation volume has had a direct link to translation budget. In order to obtain more translation, a directly proportional increase in budget was necessary. A limited budget always resulted in a limited amount of translation, quality of translated text was not affected unless that text was directly handled by a human, and some content remained untranslated.

With ElanexHYBRID^TM, budget controls are independent of volume

ElanexCOLT^TM's Budget-Constrained Hybrid System intelligently combines machine translation and human translation so that budget can be flexibly managed by the client as an independent variable.

• Everything is translated: COLT^TM automation enables cost-efficient translation of all content from the start. Nothing is left untranslated. Additional budget simply improves the quality of all translations.
• Key content is identified for translation: Some key files, more than others, would be most crucial to quality improvement throughout all files and used to improve COLT^TM. Additional files can be identified for human translation because they are most-read or most-requested by users.
• All human translation improves the quality of all output: COLT^TM will continuously learn from every human translation that is performed and input into the system. Human translations input into COLT^TM will improve all other translations in the following ways:

• More Dictionary Server results: key terms are translated correctly every time, and glossary creation and maintenance comes standard with all Elanex human translation
• More exact matches in the Inventory^TM: entire segments that have been translated perfectly will automatically be translated perfectly wherever they reappear
• More Extrapolated Matches^TM: segments that are similar to exact matches in the Inventory^TM can be accurately translated by Elanex’s Translation Extrapolation^TM Engine
• Customized training of the Machine Translation (MT) Engine: segments without exact or extrapolated matches in the Inventory^TM will receive improved machine translation
