Italian to French Business/Marketing Translator (EU106)
Elanex is currently recruiting experienced business translators to translate Italian business/marketing texts. Successful applicants must have a thorough grasp of the Italian language, excellent French writing skills and extensive experience in marketing translation.
Candidates should have significant experience in translating marketing materials, be detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Job description
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Translate marketing materials for short and long business texts and press releases.
- Meet deadlines and function professionally under deadline pressure.
- Use proprietary applications to manage workflow.
Candidate qualifications/characteristics
The candidate should have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of basic marketing terms; familiarity with a broad range of sales and business terminology
- Relevant marketing qualifications advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a marketing/business translator/editor (writing skills must be demonstrated through a translation test.)
- Prior in-house experience as a translator a plus.
- Knowledge of latest business trends in Europe.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft desktop software
- Proven time-management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and juggle several projects at the same time and to work under tight deadline pressure
- Native French speaker
