The Elanex Online Systems (EON)

EON, the Elanex Online Systems are an integrated suite of project management and translator resource systems, fully integrated with the Inventory and ETM. Taken together EON provide all the functions necessary for management of the process of delivering high quality translation services, and the ability to automate a steadily increasing proportion of those functions.

EON comprises the following individual systems:

  • Project Management system (PM). The PM system is the core of our online systems. Primarily for Project Managers, the PM system allows job management, scheduling and reporting; translator scheduling and management; document tracking and management.
  • Practitioner Database (PDB). The PDB is the central registry of our practitioner team, which currently includes over 30,000 people. The PDB enables us to track detailed quality of work information about all our team on a job-by-job basis, greatly easing quality management.
  • Finance Manager (FM). FM centralizes accounting and reporting functionality, enabling invoice creation, tracking of accounts and margins, scheduling and payment of online translator invoices.
  • Opportunity Manager (OM). OM provides sales and business opportunity management features, as well as ability to generate contracts online.
  • Glossary Manager (GM). Management of terminology collections on a client- and subject-specific basis.
  • The Elanex Intelligence System (EIS). EIS is Elanex's central repository of data, intelligence and training materials.
  • The Client Portal (CP). The Client Portal enables our clients to interact with us through an online interface - requesting jobs, viewing status, and monitoring invoices and budgets.
  • Translation Web Services (TWS). Our web services API enables our clients to automate submission of translation requests and receipt of completed translations, enabling our clients to fully automate the translation workflow.
